Podcasting gives me the freedom to talk about the things I’m passionate about, without any censorship or limitations.

Before we started World Herstory – a women’s history podcast – we were listeners! And while we definitely still listen to podcasts, we wanted to share with you our favorite women’s history podcasts.
World Herstory
Shameless plug, but we love our podcast! We put a lot into it and hope you get a lot out of it. We’re super proud of the work we’re doing.
Our focus is on lesser-known, badass women from around the world and throughout history. We share what was going on during the time period, and how the influence of the woman of the hour still impacts us today.
Queens Podcast
A conversational podcast about different queens throughout history. The hosts are super engaging and have in-depth conversations about their woman of the hour.
Katy and Nathan usually pair a cocktail with their episode and really dig into the details.
What’sHerName
What’sHerName global women’s history podcast is hosted and produced by academic sisters Olivia Meikle and Dr. Katie Nelson.
They’re a great pair of hosts and capture a great perspective on women’s history.
Lawless Ladies
New to the podcasting world, this podcast focuses on the lawless women of our past! It’s a really great show, and the hosts are so funny. Their trailer says it all about their show – they’re True Crime, but cuter!
Her Half of History
Why don’t women’s clothes have more pockets? Who are the female writers and artists my education forgot to include? How does a woman go about seizing control of her government?
The real questions are asked and answered on Her Half of History. So informative and sometimes answers questions I didn’t know I even had!
Wicked Women
They were adulterers, murderers, mistresses, religious zealots, thieves, and traitors. They were queens, wives, mothers, young, and old.
We love the podcasts about rebellious women! Between Lawless Ladies and Wicked Women, we’re absolutely set for our listening over here.
Vulgar History
Vulgar History is a comedy and historical podcast about women’s history. And honestly, if you’re going to get vulgar, you know the hilarity will ensue.
These podcasts not only inspired us to start our own, but they’re so informative and different from each other. You really get such a well-rounded taste for women’s history on these podcasts.
